Check ValidityWhy is it important to check your e-vignette?
Checking the validity of your highway vignette is a quick and free process that provides peace of mind for your travels:
- Avoid Penalties: You can determine in time if your vignette is incorrect or expired.
- Data Verification: You can ensure that your license plate and country code were entered correctly during purchase.
- Entitlement Type: You can verify whether you hold a national annual vignette or a county-level vignette.
Data required for verification
The system identifies your entitlement in the database based on your vehicle's license plate:
- License Plate: Exact character usage is required.
- Country Code: Based on your vehicle's registration.
Tips for accurate results
The e-vignette system is fully automated. If the country code or license plate is entered incorrectly, the system will not find your purchased entitlement. Tip: Pay special attention to selecting the correct country code for foreign license plates!
Attention!
Vignettes purchased via the National Toll Payment Services (NÚSZ) Zrt. website, at their physical sales points, customer service offices, or through resellers (e.g., gas stations, travel agencies) cannot be queried through this interface. If our system does not return a result for your license plate, please contact the NÚSZ Zrt. customer service directly in person or by phone (+36-36-587-500).
Any subsequent modifications initiated at NÚSZ Zrt. (e.g., registration updates, refunds, license plate or fee category corrections) are not reflected in the National Mobile Payment Zrt. database. NÚSZ Zrt. cannot be held liable in cases where our system shows a result for the queried plate, but the user incurs a penalty due to subsequent changes. Accordingly, information obtained through our query system is not considered legally binding in penalty proceedings and cannot be used as evidence.
