Hungarian e-vignette 2026 – prices, categories, validity, national and county toll stickers
I. General information about the 2026 Hungary e-vignette
Using any toll section of Hungarian motorways requires a valid e-vignette. If a driver enters a toll road without a valid vignette, they have 60 minutes to purchase one.
Pre-purchase for 2026: Annual national, county and the new M1 regional vignettes will be available from 8 December 2025. All annual vignettes are valid from 1 January 2026 until 31 January 2027.
Buses (over 3.5t): Since 2024, buses remain in the HU-GO distance-based tolling system. No e-vignette can be purchased for them.
1-day vignette: Valid only on the designated calendar day between 0:00–24:00. For purchases made later during the day, validity starts immediately and lasts until 23:59.
Annual county vignette: Valid up to the first junction after the county border, as defined in Decree 45/2020 (ITM).
M1 regional vignette (NEW in 2026): A discounted annual vignette for the counties affected by the M1 motorway reconstruction: Pest, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom and Győr-Moson-Sopron.

- Pest County: M44 – Kecskemét North / Lajosmizse → Szentkirály junction
- Baranya County: M6 – Bátaszék → Ivándárda (state border)
- Bács-Kiskun County: M44 – Kecskemét North / Lajosmizse → Tiszaug / Tiszakürt
