Are the usual time based sticker valid?

Yes, the usual 10-day, monthly and annual stickers are still valid. There has been certain changes made to the categories though: certains vehicles do not belong to D1 category anymore, they are now listed under category D2.

What is the difference between the regional stickers and the traditional stickers?

The traditional, time based stickers (10-day, monthly, annual) are valid for all road sections, new toll roads included. The new, regional stickers are region based stickers, and are valid within certain regions and counties, but can be used without a time limit, for a year. It is highly recommended to plan your annual routes to be able to choose the most suitable sticker.

The list of toll roads can be found on the website of Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató Zrt.

When is it recommended to buy a regional sticker?

The regional sticker is not obligatory, it is simply an opportunity. If you know your annual routes and travellings, you will be bale to list the regions you want to travel through, making it easier to sum up the cost of your annual travelling. If the amount is lower than the annual sticker, then it is highly recommended to choose the regional sticker.

How can I purchase the regional sticker?

You can purchase the regional sticker at the customer service offices of Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató Zrt., at the designated point of sales, via text message and online. Those who use the toll roads without a valid sticker in January, will be given a grace period until February to buy the valid sticker for the road section. In this case the penalty should be deleted at the customer service offices of Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató Zrt. by paying a service fee.

When is it recommended to buy an annual sticker?

The annual sticker is valid on all toll roads until 31st January 2016. Whenever the cost of traditional stickers or regional sticker is higher than 30-35.000 HUF, it is highly recommended to choose the annual sticker. This way, all your travels are covered for a year, you don't have to change routes or cancel a travel because of the cost of the stickers. This comfort is worth the costs.

How can i buy the motorway stickers?

Fill in the requested fields on the website, select the type of the sticker, fill in the vehicle information and follow the steps.

When do I have to buy the sticker?

You always have to buy the sticker before entering the toll roads, it is highly recommended to buy one before your travels. The purchase of the sticker does not mean retroactive entitlement of road usage, the posteriorly bought sticker results in unauthorized road usage, and a penalty will have to be paid.

How can i pay?

You can pay with credit card or by transfer payment on our website.

You can quickly pay for the chosen sticker by credit card. Payment is accepted through the safe website of OTP Bank. The systems accepts every card that is suitable for electronic payment. After the successful payment, the sticker is immediatelly valid. The information given by the Customer on the OTP website are only seen and handled by OTP Bank. Click here for more information!

What do i have to do after purchase?

After the successful purchase, we send you a verification email to the email address given by you, that will contain all the information on your purchase. Please print this out and keep it in the vehicle, this way you will be able to verify that you are entitled to use toll roads. Please do not forget, that the simple fact of successful payment does not authorize you to use toll roads, you will need the printed document under all circumstances.

How do I get an invoice of the payment?

When choosing the sticker type, please also request an invoice, and please give the required information. We will send you the invoice via email.

Is it possible to modify or cancel the sticker I already payed for?

Unfortunately it is not possible to modify, cancel or delete the sticker that has already been payed for. Please be very careful when giving the required information, if any of the required information was not correctly given, please contact the customer service of Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató Zrt., where you have the opportunity to modify the given information: +36 (36) 587-500.

Is it possible to check if a certain license plate number is already authorized for toll roads?

Unfortunately we are only able to give information of license plate numbers registered on our website. Stickers bought on other websites are not registered here, you will get information on those stickers from the relevant point of sale.

I passed through a check-point without valid sticker. What are the consequences?

Our advice is to get a valid sticker as soon as possible, but it is not guaranteed that you will not be penalized. Should you need further information on verification and penalties, check the website of Nemzeti Útdíjfizetési Szolgáltató Zrt.
