GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(e-autopalyamatrica.hu – from 1 September 2025)
1. Service provider details

The Service Provider is a reseller partner of Nemzeti Mobilfizetési Zrt. (NMFR) and sells e-vignettes through the NMFR system.
2. The Customer
A Customer is any natural or legal person who purchases motorway e-vignettes or related administrative services on the Website and, prior to the purchase, accepts:
- these General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”),
- the Privacy Notice.
3. Subject of the service (EXTENDED)
The Service Provider provides the following services on the e-autopalyamatrica.hu website:
3.1. Sale of e-vignettes
- sale of motorway e-vignettes valid in the territory of Hungary,
- via the system of Nemzeti Mobilfizetési Zrt.,
- at the official tariffs set out in the applicable legislation,
- without any surcharge (convenience fee).
3.2. Insurance products
The following products are available and can be purchased on the Website:
- vehicle assistance insurance (eMatrica Assistance),
- travel insurance,
- complimentary accident insurance (for certain packages and vehicle categories).
Insurance services are provided by the contracted insurance partners of the Service Provider (e.g. Colonnade Insurance S.A. Hungarian Branch for the complimentary accident insurance).
The insurance terms and conditions are contained in the insurance documents published on the Website.
3.3. Administrative / back-office service packages
For a separate fee, the Service Provider offers administrative service packages (Plus, Pro), which are independent, optional back-office services separate from the e-vignette:
- document management,
- document retention,
- priority customer service,
- notifications,
- customer account,
- accident insurance,
- archiving of vehicles.
These do not form part of the price of the e-vignette and do not affect the validity of the e-vignette.
4. Service packages (Basic, Plus, Pro)
4.1. BASIC package – HUF 0 (mandatory basic service)
The Basic package is automatically included with every purchase and contains:
- immediate on-screen confirmation after successful purchase,
- immediate download of the vignette certificate, invoice and insurance policy,
- 7-day document access via an e-mail link,
- free customer service reply within a maximum of 30 days,
- payment by bank card (HUF/EUR) or domestic bank transfer.
Not included: customer account, 12-month archiving, fast customer service, expiry notification, accident insurance.
4.2. PLUS package – HUF 990 (valid for a specific purchase)
The Plus package is a separately selectable administrative service:
- e-mail confirmation with PDF attachments,
- vignette certificate / invoice / policy attached,
- customer service response time: maximum 3 business days,
- expiry notification by e-mail,
- 6-month accident insurance for 1 person,
- extended document availability period,
- additional vehicle within one purchase: +HUF 495 / vehicle / year.
Not included: customer account, 12-month archiving, management of multiple vehicles.
4.3. PRO package – HUF 1,990 / 12 months
The Pro package is valid for a 12-month period for one vehicle and includes:
- customer account,
- archiving of all documents for 12 months,
- customer service response within a maximum of 1 business day,
- expiry notifications,
- 6-month accident insurance,
- additional vehicle within one purchase: +HUF 990 / vehicle / year.
5. Modification / cancellation of orders
After successful payment, the e-vignette:
- cannot be modified,
- cannot be cancelled,
- can only be repurchased under the conditions set out in the rules of NÚSZ Zrt. and the applicable legislation.
6. Notifications
The expiry notification is for information purposes only.
The Service Provider shall not be liable for any damages resulting from missed or undelivered notifications, incorrect e-mail address, errors of the service provider or any similar reasons. The purchase confirmation is always available on the screen and – depending on the package – by e-mail.
7. eMatrica Assistance – clarification
The eMatrica Assistance service is provided by the Service Provider’s insurance partners. The content of the insurance is defined by the insurance terms and conditions.
In case of bank transfer:
- only transfers from a Hungarian bank account are accepted,
- the insurance becomes valid when the amount is credited,
- the Customer will be notified by e-mail.
8. Complimentary accident insurance
The accident insurance is provided by Colonnade Insurance S.A. Hungarian Branch.
Important:
- available only for vehicles in categories D1 and D2,
- not available for categories U and D1M,
- validity: 6 months / 1 person,
- can be requested when purchasing the e-vignette,
- cannot be concluded retrospectively.
9. Payment terms
Payment on the Website is possible by bank card or bank transfer.
Handling of erroneous bank transfers
If the Customer:
- enters an incorrect payment reference,
- transfers an incorrect amount,
- makes a double transfer,
the Service Provider may automatically refund the amount paid, within 30 days at the latest. The fee of the refund is HUF 500 per item. The Customer shall be solely liable for any damages resulting from the error.
10. Invoicing
- An invoice is issued only if the Customer requests it at the time of purchase.
- Subsequent modification or replacement of an invoice is subject to a fee.
- The invoice is issued in PDF format.
11. Chargeable subsequent administrative services
The following optional administrative services are available:
- Validity check: HUF 290 / occasion,
- Resending documents by e-mail: HUF 690 / occasion,
- Subsequent issue / modification of invoice: HUF 990 / occasion,
- Refund of erroneous transfer: HUF 500 / item,
- Search and response regarding non-identifiable Customer: HUF 1,490 / occasion,
- SMS notification (purchase / expiry): according to separate tariff.
12. Validity check
- Applies only to e-vignettes purchased within the NMFR reseller network.
- The result of the check cannot be used in surcharge (penalty) procedures.
13. Types of errors (toll category, registration number, country code)
These are handled by the customer service of NÚSZ Zrt., subject to deadlines and fees:
- modification of toll category with payment of the difference,
- modification of registration number (up to 3 characters) for a fee of HUF 1,470,
- modification of country code.
The Customer must have the following:
- vignette verification receipt,
- vehicle registration certificate.
14. Exclusion of reselling
The Customer may purchase only for their own use. Reselling is prohibited. The Service Provider is entitled to immediately delete any account involved in unlawful reselling.
15. Warning regarding road use
Financial settlement in itself does not constitute entitlement to use toll roads.
If the Customer does not see the confirmation, they must not enter a toll road. The Service Provider shall not be liable for any damages arising from such cases.
16. Distance contract – right of withdrawal
The e-vignette, insurance and administrative services are performed immediately; therefore the Customer is not entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal.
Legal basis: Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.) Section 29.
17. Limitation of liability
The Service Provider shall not be liable for the following:
- NMFR or NÚSZ system failures,
- bank errors, payment system failures,
- incorrect data entry (registration number, category, e-mail, country code),
- undelivered documents due to incorrect e-mail address,
- damages arising from erroneous bank transfers,
- missing notifications (e-mail/SMS),
- surcharges arising from the Customer’s omission,
- internet connection problems, browser errors.
Liability is limited to the widest extent permitted by applicable law.
18. Term and termination of the contract
- Registration is for an indefinite period.
- The User may request the deletion of their data.
- The Service Provider may delete the account in case of unlawful use.
